Okar Style Suits was an idea that sprung out of two places. Both in their own ends and ways trendsetting and leading in fashion, but very far from each other in so many ways. In my home city of Stockholm, Sweden it is dark and cold for most of the year. People dress in strict fashion always in black or grayscale.

AS IF THE WEATHER WAS NOT DEPRESSING ENOUGH.

So a few years ago when I had relocated myself to the tropical island paradise of Canggu, Bali I realised something. That the people there dressed in vibrant colors of bold patterns to express and embrace their personalities, but there too people dressed in very similar fashion and style. These hipster beachwear outfits, much like people all dressed in black or men in suits ended up with everybody looking the same. So I started thinking of suits for some reason and how you don´t really see people wearing suits in Bali. I thought of how uncomfortable I had always been wearing this stylish, classy yet timeless item mostly beacuse…

All these things added up around me, so in an attempt to be more comfortable wearing suits, to feel more like me I put all these components together and started to explore the idea of creating my own suits…
